The question of the personal development cannot be answered without considering the origin. The home-loving mostly arises from the studying of the origin. The Beirut fashion designer Georges Chakra honored his homeland Lebanon with the couture collection for spring and summer of 2020. Far from popular clichés, he faced up to the complexity of the current reality with an unwavering sophistication. The frantic energy of the country, its youth’s desire for rights in freedom and the mobilisation of society of the recent months gained centre stage. On 20th January 2020, the white rose, presented to every guest at the fashion show in the Petit Palais in Paris, stood for the support of peaceful change in Lebanon.
