“Someone who runs to meet future and forgets his past thereby lose his identity,” was Nicoletta Spagnoli’s credo. In a globalised world, dominated by speed and haste, the chief executive officer of the Perugia-based Luisa Spagnoli S.p.A. and its creative director bethought herself of the couture, standing for virtuoso tailoring. She developed a love for details in order to reveal the true identity of the brand “Luisa Spagnoli”, quasi its heart, and in order to interpret it in keeping with the times.
