The Paris fashion house “Maison Margiela” is present in the fashion weeks not only in Paris, but also in Milan. For its brand “MM6”, the event site “FABBRICA OROBIA 15” was the place, where the ready‑to‑wear collection for spring and summer of 2020 was shown on 18th September 2019. It had always been a concept, inherent to the world of this brand, that several identities can exist in a single garment. To question origin versus evolution led now to the idea to be able to twist certain meanings and even rules, which were ascribed to certain materials, shapes and wearing methods in the collective consciousness, in one moment.
