In Figaro’s cavatina (№ 3) of the opera buffa “Le nozze di Figaro” (KV 492) of the German composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart after the libretto of the Italian poet Emmanuele Conegliano alias Lorenzo Da Ponte from the year 1786, it says in the German version: “Does the Count want to dare a little dance now …” The Paris fashion designer Julien Fournié, however, caused for the tenth anniversary the famous piece “Dance of the Knights” (№ 13) of the ballet “Romeo and Juliet” op. 64 of the Russian composer Sergei Sergeyevich Prokofiev from the year 1935 to sound, when he danced a waltz with the mannequin, which had just presented the wedding dress as the last model of the couture collection for autumn and winter of 2019/2020, on the runway in the church Oratoire du Louvre at the finale of the fashion show on 2nd July 2019.
