Other than in the song, there was something to celebrate in Paris recently. The Netherlandic fashion designers Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren looked back happily on twenty-five years of creative work. For the silver anniversary, they created an ode to the past time. Although an accumulation of memories arised as a result, this was not a nostalgic review, but a view of future. Always looking ahead and pushing the boundaries of transformation, it generated an antithesis to the appreciation for the past. This approach was typical of the creative duo. The duo was about the “renewal of the vows” towards fashion.
