Just as theatre has a “cathartic and restorative” effect, so fashion activates the “collective and individual spark of change”. This was the fashion designer Lavinia Biagiotti Cigna’s firm conviction; she considered herself the guardian of Italian cultural heritage like her in the last year deceased mother and predecessor Laura Biagiotti. In this spirit, she invited her guests on 25th February 2018 into the Milan theatre “PICCOLO TEATRO DI MILANO ● TEATRO D’EUROPA”, which had already been the site of the fashion shows of the Rome fashion house in the past twenty years. There, the stage and the catwalk blended for a show of life with people and figures; it was time to raise the curtains.
