There was something to celebrate for the brand “mila schön milano”, nowadays in Japanese hands, because the Italian fashion designer Maria Carmen Nutrizio alias Mila Schön had opened her first atelier in Milan in the year 1958. The graphic footprint, which she had left with her creations in the fashion world, abided a reinterpretation. Alessandro de Benedetti, the current creative mind of the brand, attended to the surreal heritage with its glacial beauty. For the sixtieth anniversary, he presented the ready‑to‑wear collection for autumn and winter of 2018/2019 under the motto “GRAPHIC ALPHABET” in the Palazzo Clerici on 24th February 2018; he explained it as follows: “The language of style has a new poetic symbolism.” With the american actress Katharine Hepburn’s words, it can be expressed so: “If you obey all of the rules, you miss all of the fun.”
