The Milan fashion week was on a tear. The calendar of the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode for the ready‑to‑wear week in February and March 2018 still contents only seventy-nine parades, while the calendar of the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana for the ready‑to‑wear week in February 2018 reached sixty-nine parades, so that both fashion weeks went head to head nearly. There could be no longer question of the primacy of the fashion metropolis Paris in the sector of the ready‑to‑wear clothing, the less so since the Italian brand “MONCLER” with French roots had also changed from Paris to Milan for the presentation of the new collection.
