Fashion designers are also cultural ambassadors. Then fashion becomes the message. The Japanese fashion designer Yumi Katsura sees herself as an ambassador of Japanese and European culture. With the couture collection for spring and summer of 2018, she built a bridge between the Far East and the West under the motto “Bonds”.
