The relationship of the Milan brand “GIADA” with the world of art had a continuation. For the presentation of the ready‑to‑wear collection for spring and summer 2018 in the Palazzo di Brera on 25th September 2017, the fashion house donated two letters by the Italian writer Alessandro Manzoni, which had never been published before, to the Braidense National Library, having accommodation there. It was about, on the one hand, a signed letter to Filippo Guenzati from 26th April 1850 and from Lesa and, on the other hand, a handwritten letter to Paolo Fusi from 14th August 1855 and from Milan. In view of the forthcoming publication of the aforesaid writer’s letter collection, this was a valuable extension of the stock. With the ceding, the fashion designer Gabriele Colangelo affirmed his love of art and of Italian culture.
