There are doctors without borders and reporters without borders. So it is not surprising, that there are also fashion designers without borders. One of them is Stella Jean from Rome, because she is open to all cultures in the world. In La Paz in Bolivia, people’s everyday life had impressed her. She had had a special interest, however, in the female show fighters. The professional catch wrestling in Mexican manner (Lucha Libre) had given the women of the indigenous people of the Aymara (Cholitas), discriminated, humiliated, abused especially because of their traditional clothing, a chance to get free from the housework and to become a part of the paid female working classes.
