It must not always be a parade. The Paris fashion designer Rabih Kayrouz from Lebanon presented his collection “MANUEL” for autumn and winter 2017/2018 on 5th March 2017 in his own studio, where the show room with dressmaker’s dummies and clothing racks replaced the runway with mannequins. The circumstance, that the calendar of the Chambre Syndicale du Prêt‑à‑Porter des Couturiers et des Créateurs de Mode showed this show room presentation as a parade nonetheless, led to surprise and confusion among the visitors, particularly as this collection had already been seen in the last couture week, precisely on 22th January 2017.
