In the fashion weeks something was in motion. Fashion designers reoriented and changed the place for the presentation of their collection. For example, Wolfgang Joop already moved from Paris to Milan in the year 2015. In this season the brand “VIONNET” followed him. As a counteraction, Uma Wang got to Paris, whereas it pulled the brand “PORTS 1961” from Milan to London. Roland Mouret and Sharon Wauchob preferred London to Paris. Overall, a trend away from Paris was ascertained. Apart from that, the Chambre Syndicale du Prêt à Porter des Couturiers et des Créateurs de Mode reduced its event series “Semaine des Créateurs de Mode femme” by one day – the series was eight-day henceforth – so that the difference to the event series “Milano Moda Donna” with six days lessened. Moreover, the mood in Paris was no longer so good and easy as before. From 28th February 2017 to 7th March 2017 the question was inevitably raised: what is going on in Paris? The omnipresent threat of terror could not be the reason for everything.
