Combination is one of the most important methods of fashion designers. This applies not only to physical objects, but also to ideas and procedures, when, for example, things from the past are combined with aspects from the present. The fashion designer Christian Alexander Beck, working for the Munich brand “AIGNER”, brought together classic shapes and cuts, traditional craftsmanship and also natural materials on the one hand, as well as novel structures and surfaces and also innovative techniques and processing methods on the other hand.
